You can find the slides (in German) here.
I’ll be giving a three hour Wireshark tutorial and a 1hour presentation about check_mk (and some other Icinga / Nagios related tools) at this years FrOSCon on August 25th and 26th. Both are in German. The tutorial is at a beginner level and hands on. So bring your own notebook. I’ll also explain some other network troubleshooting techniques.
The fourth meeting of the German Network Operators Group (DENOG) will take place in Darmstad on November 15th.
The Call for for Participation and Papers just started.
For all German readers: The annual conference of the GUUG (Frühjahrsfachgespräch) 2012 will take place from February 28th to March 2nd in Munich. As usual the program looks great and you still can get 20% discount when you register.
Once again I’ll be giving my usual IPv6 introduction at the TechTalks of the Open Source School in Munich.
The talk will start at about 19:00 o’clock, language will be German. The event will be free of charge but registration is required.
Call for papers for FrOSCon and OpenRheinRuhr have just been published.
FrOSCon will take place in St. Augustin, Germany in August, OpenRheinRuhr in Oberhausen, Germany in November.
I enjoyed both conferences last year and already submitted a paper for FrOSCon.
If you’ve never submitted a paper take a look at Tom Limoncelli “More thoughts about submitting papers …” an thing about it.
From Mai 25th to Mai 28th the FFG (Frühjahrsfachgespräch) will take place in Cologne, Germany. As usual on the first two days there will be several tutorials and on the last two days a number of very interesting presentations. Language will be German.
Last Saturday I’ve given my usual presentation on IPv6 in Chemnitz. There where over 200 people in the room which shows that IPv6 is becoming more and more an interesting topic
I received a lot of positive feedback. Yes I know: I was a little bit fast and there where many things I hadn’t have time to explain in more detail. I think of workshop for the next conference.
Last but not least: I’d like to thank the organizers for the great conference and the nice weekend.
