Don’t trust manuals
Last week I spend a couple of hours troubleshooting a problem caused by some misleading how-tos and manuals. .-(
Most of the times the best documentation is in the source.

If you’re living in the US and using Comcast and you are interested in IPv6 you should take a look at http://www.comcast6.net/. Very cool. When will the big provider in Germany start with something similar?
Apparently Google started serving youtube videos via IPv6.
Yes I know that IPv6 is not an interesting topic. That’s why I’m giving my usual IPv6 introduction once again.
I’m talking about Nagios on Friday 29th @ the Buero 2.0
From they’re blog:
Jens Link zählt zu den Berliner Netzwerkprofis, ist IPv6-Evangelist und Koordinator des GUUG-Stammtisches Berlin
IPv6 Evangelist? Thanks! I think I have to order some new business cards
In 2010 I’ll continue talking about IPv6. This year I’m starting in Chemnitz on March 13th. The talk will be in German.
I recently added some new stuff to http://ipv6.spreadshirt.net.
Have fun and make me rich.
Like every year the German Unix User Group (GUUG) hosts to conferences and (quite unusual) the call for paper is online for both of them:
1. GUUG Frühjahrsfachgespäch (in German, Mai 2010, Cologne)
2. Linux-Kongress (in English, September 2010, Nuremberg)
There are some things that can be safely ignored. For me Twitter is one of these things. But this sign is nice.
(Thanks Konni)
