I’m sometimes asked about NRPE (Nagios Remote Plugin Executor) and IPv6. Try using check the ICNIGA version of NRPE.
Something funny on programming languages for a snowy Sunday afternoon.
I recently received a “newsletter”. One which I did not and, looking at the topic, never would subscribe too. I rreceived the same “newsletter” on three different mail accounts, one of them only used as reply-to in my Usenet days (quite some time ago). So I deiced too take a closer look at the mail headers. The ISP is based in Germany so I though that my chances are good to and send a complained to abuse@provider.
So far, so good.
Fun with some new hardware from my lab. Works with other JunOS devices as well. I’ll post something about the EX2200-C later.

I want my mommy!
Thanks Thorsten for the hint
After the great answer to my question about IPv6 they did it! They called me an offered me a better price. This convinced me to change my ISP at home right now. Good riddance Vodafail. Hope you fail big time with CGN / LSN.
I recently wrote that I bougth a Kindle. O’Reilly (US) has a great offer:Register your printed copy of a book and get the electronic version for $5. You can choose between different formats including PDF and MOBI which work well on the Kindle.

Okay, according to sixy.ch this blog hat IPv6 for 1059 days. But better late than never.
If only some German access providers would offer native IPv6.
If you are lazy (just like me) and don’t want to do your IP subnetting by hand checkout sipcalc.
Sipcalc can work both with vintage IP and IPv6.
